The Power System Control & Protection Lab supports research, education, and training activities provided by Dr. Mladen Kezunovic's group at Texas A&M University.

Mission

The lab's mission is to enable the best possible education and research environment, as well as hands-on experience relevant to present and future power system control & protection concepts and solutions.

Facilities

Our facilities include the state-of-the-art computer lab, teaching lab, and various equipment aimed at testing and calibration of devices such as computer relays, smart meters, phasor measurement units, and others.

Smart Grid Center

The lab is a part of the Smart Grid Center, which is organizing teams of faculty and student researchers, as well as industry professionals, to deliver innovative energy solutions to meet the needs of future generations.Link >
